TDV Polyster Matrix
TDV Class II restorative matrices optimize restoration quality and reduce operative time. They have geometry and shape that give them excellent adaptation, reestablishing points of contact and marginal ridges. They are pre-contoured and have a built-in locking system that allows the matrix to be adjusted to the size of the tooth, fixing it firmly and avoiding the use of the matrix holder.
Install the wedge. The use of prewiring is recommended, from anesthesia to the installation of the matrix. The matrix is installed with the metal ring facing the lingual or vestibular, according to the need. The matrix adaptation takes place by means of the compression of the metal ring. The end of the now kneaded ring may be folded to the side. If necessary, the conformation of the matrix can be retouched with the aid of a burner or exploratory probe. Once the work is complete, remove the wedge and cut the end of the fastening system to extract the die without damaging the restoration.
